VMware Converter は、システム環境や他の仮想環境から VMware 環境へ変換するツールです。

動作しているシステム環境を VMware イメージに変換します。Symantec Backup Exec や Ghost で保存したイメージからも変換できます。
-''Enterprise Edition と Starter Edition''~
Starter Edition は無償で個人向け。VMware Workstation 6 に標準で実装されています。Enterprise Edition は有償で企業向け。V2V、P2V の作業が同時に行える等の機能が豊富です。
